  MGDA is a fast-working, strong builder with excellent ecological properties, being readily biodegradable and not labelled as dangerous. This makes MGDA an ideal replacement for ingredients under regulatory pressure, such as phosphates (which are banned in various regions due to water eutrophication), in automatic dishwashing (ADW) and in laundry. MGDA is a drop-in Replacement for NTA in industrial and institutional cleaners.

  MGDA (methylglycinediacetic acid) is the modern strong chelating agents. It is quickly biodegradable and is not labelled as dangerous. It has the ability to bind calcium and magnesium ions, which bind most of the stains to the surface. It also able to remove hard water carbonate scales, transforming them into water soluble metal chelates and will prevent the inactivation of anionic surfactants by water hardness cations, which will greatly improve the detergency power.
