Rainbow is a direct source of specialty chemicals and organic intermediates from Asia. Through our experienced network of principles and associates, we are able to provide our customers with fine quality materials that increases product reliability, improves product quality, enhances productivity, and reduces manufacturing costs. This is achieved by working with our suppliers to make product modifications necessary to achieve the above objectives.

Rainbow provides its customers local access to handle their technical and supply-related questions; low cost overseas technical capabilities in the form of our associated suppliers' manufacturing facilities, technical lab/manpower/know-how, operating infrastructures to develop and supply selected products; potential licensing/joint venture capability by forming a long-term links between U.S. companies and our affiliated manufacturing operations in Asia. Our local presence ensures that we effectively serve the needs of our U.S. customers.
What is the specific role Rainbow takes on in its business relationships?
Rainbow acts on behalf of its suppliers to provide its customers sales related services. We ensure our customers receive services as if the manufacturer was locally present, thereby minimizing all import-related efforts. We become a local presence in the market, on behalf of our manufacturers, with respect to business-to-business developments, sales services, and customers relations.

How long does it take to receive a sample or shipment?
If the material is in inventory, we can have a sample, or even a shipment to the customer within 24-48 hours. If we do not have the material available in inventory, we would have to request it from our Asian suppliers. Samples can arrive within one to two weeks time and shipments take four to six weeks for delivery (by ship), plus any interim testing and evaluation time on the part of our customer. In emergency cases where time is of the utmost importance, we can arrange to have materials flown in from overseas.
How can the customer be sure that the quality of material offered meets the manufacturing needs?
Rainbow commits to offering the best quality of material it can find, at a reflective price. But we recognize that, depending on the end usage, our customers may not need a high-grade, more expensive material, but a mid-grade material at a cheaper price, instead. In any case, we work with each customer individually to determine his or her needs. We then find material that meets the customer specifications, whatever they may be.
