牋牋FMC Foret, part of the Industrial Chemicals Group of FMC Corporation (USA), has been active in Spain for more than a hundred years and is now one of the country's leading chemical manufacturers. From its head offices in Barcelona, the company manages and coordinates its seven production plants and its distribution centers throughout the Iberian Peninsula, in addition to exports to the European Union market and the rest of the world.
牋牋FMC Foret's chemical products also reach the Maghrib area (Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia), Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran and South Africa, as well as the countries of Central and South America and Southeast Asia. These regions are served from both the head offices and through the Company's branch offices and distributors in Casablanca, Algiers, Tunis, Cairo, Istanbul, Tehran, Dubai, Miami, Caracas and Manila.

牋牋FMC Foret's production potential in Spain is completed with two affiliated chemical companies: Perorsa, located in La Zaida (Zaragoza) and with 50 per cent share capital held by Laporte Chemicals, which manufactures organic peroxides used in the polymers industry, and Sibelco Espa駉la, located in Utiel (Valencia), with 50 per cent share capital held by Sibelco AG., a firm that produces silicas for the ceramic, glass and foundry industries.
牋牋FMC Foret supplies its products to the detergent, paper, textile, tanning and chemical industries, among others, as well as to agriculture, and employs 1,000 people in Spain.
