Chee Seng Sesame Oil was awarded Gold Medals by the International Monde Selection consecutively for five years from 1988 to 1992, for its High Product Quality and Packaging Design. Subsequently, it was awarded Grand Gold Medal in 2002 & 2003 in recognition of the marked improvement in its product quality.
In year 2000, our company became the first among sesame oil manufacturer to be accredited ISO 9001 certificate (by AJA EQS Certification (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.).
CHEE SENG's success can be attributed to innovation in its processing of the 100% Pure Sesame Oil from Natural, High Quality Sesame Seeds with no genetic modification. Never compromising on its premium raw materials, the specially selected seeds are carefully toasted, mechanically cold-pressed and extracted without any chemical solvents or added preservatives. That resulted in robust fragrant sesame oil that meet with the International Codex Standards and is Cholesterol Free and high in Monounsaturated fatty acid and polyunsaturated fatty acid.
Our company packed and trade under three brands: "Chee Seng", "Double Pagoda" for 100% pure sesame oil and "Golden Ox" for blended sesame oil. In addition, we also contract-pack for our valued partners under their private labels (OEM). As the industry leader in Singapore, we export to the United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines.
