  What is Metaraminol Bitartrate?

  
  Metaraminol Bitartrate injection is an α1 and α2 adrenergic receptor agonist. Metaraminol Bitartrate also has a certain stimulating effect on the β1 receptor of the heart. It can constrict blood vessels, reflexively slow down the heart rate, and increase the contractility of the myocardium. Metaraminol Bitartrate has certain effects in increasing blood pressure.

   

  Metaraminol Bitartrate injection is used to prevent and treat hypotension caused by sepsis or cardiogenic shock. It can also be used to prevent and treat shock caused by drug allergies or surgical complications, bleeding, brain trauma or brain tumors, etc. Induced hypotension, this drug can be used as an auxiliary symptomatic treatment. It is also suitable for preventing and treating acute hypotension during neuraxial anesthesia.
