  Cerium driers, rare earth driers can show dry performance both at the bottom and the surface of the paint, can also promote drying the alkyd resin coatings. Rare earths, cerium driers can replace lead, manganese, zinc, calcium driers, with high activities than the lead, zirconium, while the amount equivalent to 40%-80% of lead, manganese, zinc, calcium,thus can reduce the cost of paint.
  In the low-temperature and high-humidity drying coatings, rare earth, cerium driers are particularly effective. Rare earths, cerium driers,being used in the stoving paint,behaves a high-temperature dry effect like iron driers, which increases the degree of crosslinking to increase the hardness and toughness,to improve the gloss and gloss retention, but easy to make the film yellow, better not for light color paint.
  Because of its excellent properties such as anti-high temperature and good stability,isooctoate cerium can also be used as PVC heat stabilizers.
