It builds viscosity and gel structure in all water base systems. Drilling fluids containing Xanthan Gum maintain nearly constant viscosity from below freezing to 270℉ static bottom hole temperature, in a pH range of 3 to 12, and the product is non-toxic and is readily biodegradable. Recommended Handling: All personnel handling this material must handle it as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Packaging and Storage: Packed in 25 kgs or 50 lbs paper sacks. Store in a dry location. Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles. Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and /or stacking. |
