Ceramide
Ceramide is the main component (> 50%) of the lipid in stratum corneum cells of skin, which retains water and protect against outside irritation as functions of skin moistening and protection. As aging and entering seniority the amount of ceramide decreases, to which abnormity such as dry and rough skin occurs due, to take ceramide supplement makes an ideal method to prevent against those defects.
