  Physical and chemical properties	Colorless or light yellow transparent oily liquid. Can dissolve ethylcellulose, polystyrene, and acetyl chloroacetic acid. Relative density (25°C/4°C) 0.913, solid point -55°C, boiling point 377°C, flash point (opening) 215°C, refractive index 1. 449, viscosity (20 °C) 19.9mPa·s. Soluble in alcohols, ketones, esters, hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons organic solvents, insoluble in water and dialcohols. It can be mixed with ethylcellulose, polystyrene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, etc. Good cold resistance. Flammable, non-toxic; LD 50  12800～29600mg／kg。
  Uses	Used as an excellent plasticizer and used as a low-temperature plasticizer. It is also used as a synthetic lubricant for steam-injected engines.
