  Use:

  Used in highway, expressway, parking lot and port. As dryer to dry nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, hydrogen chloride and sulfur dioxide. Act as dehydration agent when producing alcohol, ester, aether and crylic acid. Calcium chloride is a kind of important cryogen used by freezing machine and when making ice. It can speeden hardness of concrete and increase cold resistance ability of construction sand pulop. In port, act as fog removing agent and dust collecting agent on road and fireproof agent of textile. Protective agent and refining agent of aluminum magnesium metallurgy. Act as precipitator in producing lake paint. It is a kind of raw material of producing calcium salt. In algae sodium and bean industry it acts as flocculation.

   

   

  Manufacturing Process:

  1) Solvay process

  To purify distiller waster liquor of soda ash processed by Solvay Process, and make it evaporated in vaporizer after clarification. Once assay of Calcium Chloride reach to 40%, sodium chloride in solution is almost precipitated entirely. After segregation, it could be reture to be raw material in production of soda ash. The mother liquor that separating sodium chloride out will be delivered to vaporizer for further vaporation after clarification, assay of calcium chloride could reach to 70%, inpouring to packaging drum, through consendating and obtaining calcium chloride dehydrate.

   

  2) Limestone-Hydrochloric acid process

  Putting 31% hydrochloric acid and Limestone powder (CaCO3>95%) into reactor as per proportion of 2.2:1, creating Calcium Chloride Solution after stirring hence putting to settle tank, entering into lime slurry to make solution pH to be 8.5—9.0, meantime, ferric hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide is precipitated. Taking impurities out through filtration. Calcium Chloride solution after clarification could reach to 171—174C via vaporation. Through cooling and crystallizing, obtaining Calcium Chloride dehydrate.

  (3) Ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) volumetric solution

  (4) Sodium carboxylic acid (Cal-red)
