Dabco T is a non-emissive amine that promotes the ureareaction. Due to its reactive hydroxyl group it readily reacts into the polymer matrix. It can be used in flexible and rigid polyurethane systems where a smooth reaction profile is required.
Applications for Dabco T include spray foam insulation, flexible slabstock, packaging foam, automotive instrument panels and other areas where a catalyst providing low residual odor or non-migrating performance is required.
The usage levels of Dabco T are dependent on the requirements of the par-ticular application. When producing flexible or molded foams, it is recommended that Dabco T be used in conjunction with a strong gelling catalyst such as 33-LV catalyst.
