Being a nanopoder made of nano TiO2 mixed with some metal or metal oxide, Ti-01 can be used for producing photocatalyst (anatase). Under the illumination of light of less than 400nm, the valence electrons of this powder are sent to the conduction band to put the electron and cavity in action with O₂ and H₂O absorbed on their surface and produce superoxide anion radicals. These radicals have the function of decomposing hazardous gas and organic pollutants through photocatalysis and antisepsis through photocatalysis, and can be widely used in air purification and sewage treatment. Ti-02 has good screening function against ultraviolet ray (rutile). By compounding with nanozine oxide, it can become an ultraviolet ray screening agent, under the joint action of ultraviolet ray and oxygen, it has strong bactericidal power. It can be widely used in sunscreen cosmetics, functional chemical fiber, high-grade plastics and other fields.

This product series has a wide range of application and the quantity to be added differs greatly from 0.5-8.0% at different places for its use. Generally speaking, the quantity to be added is 1-3% for screening agent, 3-5% for whitening and moisture preservation, 3-8%for ultraviolet ray resistance and 2.5% for printing ink and coating. When the place for its use is over the above range, the user shall determine the quantity to be added through testing.
